Vineyard picnic for two
$85Quiche, local cheese, fruit and a chilled bottle of rosé, packed in a basket for your day out.
What's included in every stay, the extras you can add, and our own guide to the best of Sonoma.
Included · every morning
Three courses, served at your own table on the veranda or in the dining room. We cook each main to order and change the menu every day.

Included · every evening
From 5 to 6 pm we pour two wines from small Sonoma Valley producers, most of them within ten miles of the house. It's a relaxed way to meet other guests and plan dinner.

Your hosts
We bought the farmhouse in 2017 and spent two years restoring it. Tom runs the kitchen garden and the hens; Elena runs the kitchen and knows every winemaker in the valley.
Most of what you eat at breakfast grows within a hundred steps of the table: tomatoes, herbs, figs, citrus and the eggs.
“Tell us what you love and we'll plan the perfect day around it.”
Harvest season · August to October
Harvest weekends fill three to four months ahead. Midweek stays are quieter and cost up to $70 less a night.

California's largest town square: cafés, bakeries, tasting rooms and the old Mission, all around a shady park.

Dozens of tasting rooms within a few blocks. Walk there and back and leave the car at the inn.

Flat, quiet roads link a dozen family wineries east of town. We mark our favourite loop on your map.

A three-mile loop above town with views over the valley. Best first thing in the morning or at sunset.

Redwood and oak trails, the ruins of Wolf House and a climb up Sonoma Mountain for the full view.

Local growers, bakers and flower farmers every Friday morning. Go early for the best produce.

Twenty-five minutes over the hills. We'll suggest a short list so the day feels easy, not rushed.
